GUNS N' ROSES: Pro-Shot Footage Of Performance At NEIL YOUNG's 'Bridge School' Benefit
October 21, 2012GUNS N' ROSES' performance at Neil Young's 26th annual Bridge School benefit concert last night (Saturday, October 20) at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California was broadcast live via the Internet for the low donation price of $10. All proceeds go directly to the Bridge School. Also scheduled to appear were Young and his band CRAZY HORSE, Jack White, THE FLAMING LIPS, Sarah McLachlan, FOSTER THE PEOPLE, Lucinda Williams, Steve Martin and the STEEP CANYON RANGERS, K.D. Lang and SISS BOOM BANG, and Gary Clark Jr. The webcast started at 4 p.m. PST and ran until approximately midnight PST.

The Bridge School, which was co-founded by Young's wife Pegi, works to help people with physical and speech impairments through alternate methods of communication, including music therapy. Each year, Young, who has two handicapped sons, gathers a cross-section of performers to perform acoustically to benefit the school.
GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has scheduled his first sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 years with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday, October 24. The appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is another in a series of firsts for the celebrated GUNS N' ROSES frontman, who will spend this fall at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a 12-night run of shows. The historic "Appetite For Democracy" residency will run October 31 through November 24.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. PT/11 p.m. CT on ABC.
In addition to sole original member Axl Rose, the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, DJ Ashba and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
